golden dumplings

sauce
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 T golden syrup
1 T butter

dumps:
1 cup SR flour
1 T butter
1 egg lightly beaten
a little milk

place sauce ingreds in pan & heat. rub butter in flour, stir in egg & make fairly stiff dough. roll into little balls and drop into boiling syrup 5-10 mins
